Quote by Morgan..

This is the advice I gave a friend today:

"Karma works on its own. It doesn't need your help."

That's how I feel. Things work out eventually with or without your hands in the matter. So let things unfold... at least that's how I live. Take it or leave it.

PS That's not a picture of me.

Yes Karma works but its by action and deeds that make the cycle of karma go. So karma is about being involved and getting your hands in the middle of things. "Through the law of karma, the effects of all deeds actively create past, present, and future experiences, thus making one responsible for one's own life."

yeah but when you feel that someone has wronged you, its not your responsibility to "make them pay". karma works it out for you.

I feel that karma is a personal ting and the no one can make karma work as revenge. One's own karma will catch up to one actions at some point. So if someone is trying to make someone else pay, it will only backfire as bad karma for them. In that instance one might look to Dharma, "it has governed ideas about the proper conduct of living – ideas that are upheld by the laws of the universe."

thats exactly what i mean by it doesnt need your help. you dont need to inflict revenge. you just need to be doing the right things as to keep yourself in good standing with "the universe". whoever that happens to be for you personally.
