I have just discovered my new idol..

This guy has my dream job and I am determined to follow his footsteps. AAAAND he lives in Ventura! Too good to be true. I WILL be working with him, just you wait and see..

JOSH LANDAN BIO

Josh Landan attended the New York Film Academy before working under award-winning action sports producer and director Taylor Steele. Josh worked as director of photography and cinematographer on various award winning projects for Taylor and his production company, Poor Specimen, including the titles: "Loose Change", "Heads or Tails", and "Hit and Run" - the first surf film shot completely in HD and shown in AMC Theaters nation wide. Josh's final project with Poor Specimen found him as co-director and director of cinematography for "ARC, a Taylor Knox Signature Series Film". This tightly shot 16mm film earned Knox a nomination for "Best Male Performance" at the 2002 Surfer Pole and Video Awards.

Josh has quickly made a name for himself among his peers and with the athletes he has collaborated with on numerous projects. Coming off the worldwide success of "Yield" and with the drive, dedication, and support of Thirty Four Films, Josh is positioned to lead the next generation of surf film makers and plans to do just that as director/writer/producer of his new documentary film based on the lives and unparalleled history of the Channel Islands Surf Team and their surfboard maker Al Merrick, "FLOW, the true story of a surfing revolution".
